Red Lettering

Stories will not be written easily. A story without a heart is dead, and the only place it will get a heart is from the author.

Writing Prompt: 11-07-2014

Origin: “Unearthly,” by Olivia Rose Edvalson; Olivia Rose Photography. I know neither this lady nor her other work, so if you decide to look her up, I would advice caution.

Feeling inspired? Write something from this prompt! You can write a response in the comments, or move the prompt to your own blog and leave a link in the comments. Have fun; I can’t wait to see what you all come up with.

As a note: If you’re doing NaNoWriMo, don’t write something from this until you’ve met your Word Count Goal for the day. Really, NaNo is more important.

[I really look forward to being able to read anything you write from this prompt, and I expect to enjoy it very much and for my readers to also enjoy it. That said, please keep everything as clean as it gets because otherwise I will delete the comment or link to your blog.”Only what is good for building up…” If in doubt, ask. My contact information is on the About page.]

  1. I watched as the thieves scattered like rats.
“There goes the surprise attack. I knew I should have just charged in.” I muttered and looked down at my hands. lights and coded letters flashed across my wrists. I sighed through gritted teeth. This new messaging system was better as a warning for criminals, really. It might not have been so bad, I suppose, but to have your mission interrupted just because your sister was asking for a cabbage roll recipe?
    “That’s it. I want a new job.”

I love hearing your comments. Please add to the discussion! (It'd be awesome if you could keep the comments G Rated. Thanks. :p)
