Short Story Contest Stories And Voting Announcement

CurtainsHappy New Year, readers—and (honestly more exciting to me) happy Day When the Short Stories from the Contest Are Posted.

Over the past couple of weeks (and last night in particular) I received a total of 7 stories. They were drastically different from each other, united only by the sentence, “Elves Don’t Carry Guns.” Now after getting a chance to read through these stories, I’m very excited to be able to share them with you.

In the next couple of minutes, I’ll be posting each of these stories in reverse alphabetical order; it’s up to you readers to decide who the winner is.

How to Vote

Submit your vote for one story to me through email at craftingstoriesinred(at)gmail(dot)com. Voting ends on January 10th, 2015.

(For those curious, I eventually picked emailing as a system for voting to be sure that each person voted only once, to diminish peer pressure, and—definitely the deciding factor—because I’m not entirely sure I would be able to figure out how to make the WordPress poll option work correctly)

Have fun reading!

Note: The views and opinions in these stories may or may not represent
the views of Athelas Hale or Red Lettering.
